Tie-down straps are designed for quick and reliable securing of various loads transported on all types of vehicles. Ease of use gives tie-down straps significant advantages over conventional fastening means.

A tie-down strap consists of a soft polyester webbing of the required length, a ratchet (tensioning) mechanism, and various end fittings (depending on the purpose and type of load being secured).

By design, tie-down straps are divided into endless loops and those with hooks at the ends. Endless tie-down straps are intended for strapping cargo together (for example, a bundle of pipes or round objects) to prevent them from rolling around in a truck bed or railway platform.
