Jib cranes

About the product
The "Gruzopodyem" plant has been manufacturing two types of jib rotary cranes for more than 15 years: a pillar jib crane and a wall jib crane. This type of crane can have a manual (operating mode A2 according to ISO 4301/1) or electric (operating mode A4 according to ISO 4301/1) drive for turning the console. The crane with a manual drive is controlled by a drawbar or by a load, the rotation of the boom of the jib crane with an electric drive is carried out by means of a gear motor. Both types of crane are equipped with a manual or electric hoist. The equipment is successfully operated indoors (placement category U3), under a canopy (placement category U2) and outdoors (placement category U1) in one of the following climatic versions: from -10 to +40°C, from -20 to +40°C and -40 to +40°C. Other characteristics are discussed individually.

Main characteristics of the manufactured jib cranes:

  • They are used for lifting and moving any cargo weighing up to 16.0 tons
  • They are divided into two main types: pillar jib crane, wall jib cranes
  • Pillar jib cranes are mounted on a concrete foundation by means of a support flange and anchor bolts, wall cranes are attached to a building column or to a wall
  • Cranes consist of a console (boom), a hoist (load lifting mechanism) and a column (only pillar jib crane)
  • For electric cranes, the current supply is carried out by default using an electric cable, which can be ordered optionally in the delivery package (if there is an electric drive for turning the boom)
  • The electric jib crane is controlled by a cable remote control with an emergency stop button. It is possible to set the radio control option for remote control. Turning the boom of hand cranes is carried out by means of a drawbar, lifting, lowering the load either manually or with the help of an electric mobile hoist and a control panel
  • The mechanism for lifting and moving the load is a hoist (tal), which moves along the boom of the crane
  • To increase the reliability, safety, and convenience of operation, it is recommended to install additional options that meet the operating conditions of the crane. The manager will help you choose the optimal kit
  • The advantage of cantilever cranes over overhead cranes is the convenience of working in a limited working area, ease of installation, no need to provide crane tracks
  • Pillar jib cranes are often used for operation on the street, outside the room, which increases the scope of their application.
