Rafting on the Ay River: 3.5 Days on Catamarans, in Tents, and as a Team

Employees of Gruzopodem spent an eventful weekend in the Southern Urals on a corporate rafting trip down the Ay River. The route began at the settlement of Mezhevoy, passed along scenic cliffs, caves, and rock formations, and finished in the village of Lakly.

Over 3.5 days, we covered nearly 40 km by water, hiked 11 km on foot, set up multiple camps, ran a field kitchen, and even enjoyed a mobile sauna. The itinerary included excursions to the Paramonov Cliffs, Kurgazak Cave, Dry Waterfalls, the Great Ayskiye Prityasy, the Sikiyaz-Tamak Cave Complex, and the Ayskiy Fountain. It was a time of genuine camaraderie, teamwork, and rejuvenation amid the Ural wilderness.
