New Addition to the Line – Grab Bridge Crane

The Gruzopodem plant has begun manufacturing grab bridge cranes—equipment designed for gripping and transporting bulk and piece-goods. Grab cranes are employed in ports, docks, freight terminals, mines, and other industrial facilities to handle coal, sand, gravel, logs, and various minerals. These cranes provide efficient loading and unloading of almost all materials, except fragile items.

Currently, two variants are in production:

• Specialized grab cranes with a two-jaw, four-rope grab.

• General-purpose overhead bridge cranes fitted with a hook suspension onto which a suspended powered grab is mounted. The grab’s drive mechanism can be electric or hydraulic. Electric power is supplied to the suspended powered grab via a cable drum mounted on the crane trolley.
