A 400-ton capacity double-girder overhead crane is specialized lifting equipment designed for handling exceptionally heavy loads at metallurgical, engineering, shipbuilding, and construction facilities. Its reinforced steel girder structure and mechanisms engineered for high dynamic loads allow continuous operation under demanding production cycles.

The crane can be fitted with one or multiple hoisting mechanisms, each rated for different load capacities and tasked with primary or auxiliary lifting, synchronized operation, and more. Every hoisting unit follows the classic arrangement: an electric motor, gearbox, winch, and other components mounted on a trolley that travels along the span. Separating these units simplifies maintenance and repair.

Designed for use indoors, under a canopy, or in the open air, the span’s construction can cover a working width of up to 36 meters, and the lifting height is adjustable per project requirements, reaching up to 36 meters. All drives are electric. Control is via radio remote, pendant station, or from the operator’s cabin.

The standard operating temperature range is from –20 °C to +40 °C. It can also be manufactured for temperate climates (operating from –40 °C) or cold climates (from –50 °C).

At “Gruzopod’yom” Plant, overhead cranes are custom-built to meet each client’s specifications, fully complying with TR TS 010/2011 technical regulations and our internal standards (TU 28.22.14-015-87879481-2018). We deliver using our own transport. If assembly is carried out by our team, the warranty period extends to 24 months.
