Overrunning cranes
Overrunning cranes are mobile self-propelled mechanisms designed for lifting and moving cargo within a single production shop, closed warehouse or open area. Overhead cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 10.0 tons are also called girder cranes.
Overrunning cranes move on specially laid crane rails on the bridge covering the shop or warehouse span. Their distinctive feature is the presence of a cargo truck with a lifting mechanism. Concrete or mechanical bases are used as a support for overrunning cranes moving on rails. They are often columns or cantilevered parts of the building. Crane rails are installed on the shelves of crane beams, which guarantees absolute safety of cargo movement.
Main characteristics of overrunning cranes:
The design of overrunning cranes allows them to lift the load to a higher height compared to underrunning cranes and cover a larger working area due to the features of attachment to the end beams. The strengths of these cranes are their strength, reliability, and wear resistance of the mechanisms. However, they are less versatile. With a limited height of the room, it is recommended to give preference to suspended equipment, which is more compact and maneuverable. Our company manufactures, supplies and installs two types of overrunning cranes:
You can buy single - and double-girder cranes in our company in various configurations, with a load capacity from 1.0 to 100.0 tons. They can be operated both indoors and outdoors in the temperature range from -20°C to +40°C (-40°C on request).

Main characteristics of overrunning cranes:
- It is used for lifting and moving any cargo weighing up to 400.0 tons
- The crane consists of a span (made of an I-beam or box-section beams and 2 end beams, which are equipped with gear motors that drive it)
- By default, the power supply is carried out by means of an electric cable or by other means
- The crane is controlled by a cable remote control with an emergency stop button. Possible installation options: radio control, control from the cab to improve the convenience and safety of operation
- The mechanism for lifting and moving the load is a hoist (hoist), which moves along the span of the crane or a stationary hoist mounted on a mobile trolley. The load-handling body is a hook suspension suspended from a rope rope, which is stored in its drum
- To increase the reliability, security, and convenience of operation, we recommend installing additional options
- It is widely used in industrial enterprises to perform repair, loading and unloading operations and other purposes. The advantage of the crane is its versatility and coverage of the entire working area in enterprises
- Cranes are installed on supporting tracks, in turn, placed over metal or reinforced concrete columns.

Our company manufactures, supplies and installs two types of overrunning cranes:
- Single-girder - their distinctive feature is the presence of a single span beam. They have a relatively simple design and a reasonable price. The maximum length of the span on which a single-girder overrunning crane can be installed is 42 meters. The maximum load capacity of this equipment is 16.0 tons.
- Double-girder - have two parallel span beams. They are used, as a rule, for servicing more complex technological processes and for working with large and heavy loads. Their design is more complex, the equipment is richer and the price, respectively, is higher. The maximum span length can reach 42 meters, and the load capacity is 400.0 tons.
